Abraham Massuttier


Abe is the Managing Director for Myrtle Consulting Group in Latin America. He has more than 16 years of experience improving business operations by partnering with clients to simplify their business processes and accelerate decision making cycles, cost reduction, revenue management, and business transformation. He has led numerous, multi geographic successful business transformation efforts resulting in more than $2 billion of cost reduction and operational improvements across multiple industries.

During Abe´s career, he has engaged clients in Upstream, Midstream and Downstream Oil and Gas, Consumer Packaged Goods, Manufacturing, Pulp & Paper, and Telecommunications. Representative clients include:
Energy: Shell, BP, Devon Energy, SWN, XTO, Schlumberger, Halliburton, Allied Horizontal, Pemex, Ecopetrol, Mansarovar, among others…

At Myrtle Consulting, Abe continues a results-focused career which began at Schlumberger as Field Engineer progressing into several roles and functions until joining Schlumberger Business Consulting moving to Hitachi (Celerant) Consulting where he ultimately lead the Business Development and Operations for the Latina American Energy Sector. Abe also founded an Oil & Gas practice focusing on transforming asset operations and developing new generations in the industry, the practice growth to become $10 million sales revenue a year.

Abe has a BS in Electronic Systems Engineering from Tec de Monterrey (Mexico) and an MBA in Global Energy from the Warwick Business School at the University of Warwick (UK).

Abe´s passion at home in Houston, TX is exploring new places and experiences with his wife and two beautiful kids, also enjoys following La Liga (Soccer Spain) and cheer for the Rockets and Texans.
