Gamaliel is a director at Myrtle. A driven and experienced operations executive, he has been successfully delivering operational and financial results to clients for more than 17 years. Because of his attention to detail and focus on results, he is known for his expertise in change management and his operational excellence in the execution of his programs.

Gamaliel earned his bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. Prior to his work as a consultant, he worked in the financial services sector, as well as the public sector. Since starting his consulting career, Gamaliel has successfully engaged clients at all levels, from shop-floor employees to C-level and executive board members. He has expertly managed programs and accounts, from single site to large multi-site engagements, across multiple geographies.

Throughout his career, he has participated in the identification and development of project definitions, realizing $50 million to $90 million in financial results. In addition, Gamaliel has participated, facilitated, and/or led in the delivery and implementation of approximately $90 million in annualized savings for his many clients.

To deliver these results, Gamaliel has applied operational excellence and Lean and supply chain techniques, designing programs that solve specific business challenges to create greater shareholder value. Gamaliel also has a demonstrated ability to promote account growth and generate additional sales. And, he brings international experience to the table, having led or participated in programs across seven countries and three continents.
Gamaliel is a native of Bayamón, Puerto Rico. He grew up in the greater San Juan metro area, and he speaks and writes native Spanish. He and his wife, Stephanie, have a son, Charlie, and when he is not on the road with clients, he is watching his son play Select Baseball in the Cypress area. Other pastimes include reading, traveling with his family, or learning about photography and astronomy.
