Lance is a principal and vice president at Myrtle, where he is responsible for the growth and profitability of the firm’s mining and metals business. Lance has over 23 years international management consulting experience working with clients in the Mining, Oil and Gas, Chemical, and Life Sciences sectors both in Europe, and the Americas.

He was one of the founder members of the Peter Chadwick Americas firm, which later became Cambridge Management Consulting, then Celerant Consulting, and more recently Hitachi Consulting. Lance made significant contributions to growth of each of these firms through leadership roles in business development, analysis and operations. He has also led the design and implementation of large scale results programs – building strong operations teams that deliver great results for clients. He was also a critical component in cultivating key accounts in his relevant business sectors.

More recently, Lance was a founder partner of Kalium Consulting, an operations consulting firm focused on helping clients in the Mining, Metals and Heavy Asset industries.

Lance earned his bachelor’s degree from Imperial College in London and has undertaken extensive executive further education at INSEAD and Cranfield Business Schools. Prior to his career in consulting, Lance held several management and engineering positions in Chemical, Mining & Mineral Processing, Nuclear Reprocessing and Food Manufacturing industries.

He now calls California home with his wife and son, and outside work enjoys hiking, skiing, wine, reading Military History and travel.
