Edwin is the founder, CEO and senior partner of Myrtle Consulting Group. He has had the privilege of trotting around the world growing up and has lived in the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Ivory Coast, France, Burkina Faso and the Netherlands. Edwin will tell you that his travels have taught him a lot about human interactions, which would prove useful later in his career as a change management professional. He is fluent in four languages. Edwin completed his undergraduate education at The Hague Polytechnic in the Netherlands and earned an MBA from Rice University in Houston, Texas. He started his career with IP, Inc. in France and entered the consulting industry at Peter Chadwick in London.

Doug is a partner with Myrtle, where he is responsible for business growth and development. In his more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing and consulting, Doug has developed a unique combination of experience that makes him a resourceful and creative problem-solver with the vision and communication skills to formulate enterprise-based solutions. He is an energetic team player with a consistent and demonstrated track record of coalition building to produce fast results. He has extensive global experience, having worked on projects in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, South Africa, Australia, the U.K., France, Belgium, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Germany, India and China.

Tim specializes in using Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques to improve business performance. It is this passion that afforded him the opportunity to become a partner with Myrtle. Tim is a proven leader in designing and implementing operational transformation programs, Lean Six Sigma training for various belts and continuous improvement teams. He also has extensive experience deploying operations excellence in a variety of industries that include food & beverage, life sciences, consumer packaged goods, energy, chemicals and government.
Tim received his MBA from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, one of the world’s leading business schools. Even though he resides in the Metro Atlanta area, the eyes of Texas are upon him. Tim graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Tim is a partner at Myrtle, where he leads business development and the Assessment Verification Scan (AVS) phase of our engagements. He started his career as a manufacturing engineer in the automotive sector with VDO-Yazaki, providing production technical support for the tier one supplier to Toyota. With this fundamental grounding in the Toyota Production System, Tim’s career progressed with Lean manufacturing as a center point for all his endeavors.
His international consulting experience spans the FMCG, oil & gas, industrials, chemicals and food & beverage verticals, but with the common thread of an initial detailed assessment of current performance, then based on that, the development and implementation of improvement programs to eliminate waste and maximize the value-added activities of a business.
Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of London, U.K., and an executive MBA from the Robinson School of Business, Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia. Read more…
Lotfi is a principal at Myrtle, where he leads alongside other directors and project managers all implementation projects and programs within North America. Throughout his management consulting career, Lotfi has led and worked closely with leaders at all levels of the organization on the development, execution and management of more than 25 engagements, ranging from process design, performance improvement projects, maintenance & reliability programs, cost reduction initiatives, revenue enhancement, corporate restructuring, M&A and due diligence, planning and integration. Through his efforts, Lotfi has driven significant financial benefits within organizations in the food & beverages, consumer packaged goods, chemicals, mining, energy and life sciences industries.

Melvin Bosso is a principal at Myrtle Consulting. Accomplished and versatile, he has a proven track record in cost management discipline, network optimization, root cause analysis methodology and excellence programs. He is also an expert in developing processes and management systems that favor cooperation and focus on strategic company objectives.
Melvin studied Engineering Geology at the University of Technology of Delft in the Netherlands. He joined Myrtle after leading plant operations at CHEP Canada for three years. While at CHEP, he led the company in a complete transformation of the network. Costs went down by 10 percent, production output grew 60 percent, and safety incidents went down by 80 percent while he was in this role.
Prior to leading CHEP’s operations, Melvin spent nearly eight years with Labatt in diverse leadership roles.
Paul is a principal at Myrtle. He is a highly-experienced consultant who has operated at director, vice president and principal levels in Europe, Asia, Canada, South America, South Africa and the United States.
Paul has strong industry experience, particularly in fast moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, metals and mining, energy, construction, high-tech, and process and discrete manufacturing. During his 60-plus client engagements over the past 10 years, he has analyzed, created, managed and executed complex transformational programs for more than 30 Fortune 1000 companies valued at more than $250 million in cost and revenue improvements.

Gamaliel is a director at Myrtle. A driven and experienced operations executive, he has been successfully delivering operational and financial results to clients for more than 17 years. Gamaliel earned his bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. Prior to his work as a consultant, he worked in the financial services sector, as well as the public sector. Since starting his consulting career, Gamaliel has successfully engaged clients at all levels, from shop-floor employees to C-level and executive board members. Enterprise value creation is Don’s passion and his ability to create a vision, establish strategies and lead cross-functional teams through to execution has enabled him to deliver six consecutive turnarounds at Kraft Foods, The Hain Celestial Group and a private equity owned portfolio company, Victoria Fine Foods.
After earning his bachelor’s degree in Marketing at Adelphi University, Don began his career in sales at Nielsen Marketing Research, enabling him to develop relationships with senior executives at top-tier food & beverage companies. Jayan earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his bachelor’s degree in Applied Science and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Stan Garrison is a business development executive at Myrtle. He has more than 25 years of experience as a results-oriented business development executive, consultant and corporate transaction advisor with specific expertise in operations management, performance improvement, change management, mergers and acquisitions, and operational due diligence.
Stan has led delivery teams on projects using Lean and Six Sigma techniques, process analysis and labor optimization, spend management and reliability centered maintenance. His industry experience includes a broad range of manufacturing companies in food production, paper and packaging, industrial products and chemicals. Chris Gregory is a director at Myrtle. He has more than 18 years of experience in leading strategic initiatives for multiple Fortune 500 companies. Chris has spent a large portion of his consulting career in the oil & gas, mining, consumer products and private equity industries.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, and spent more than 10 years in operations with Sears, Roebuck & Company, where he was exposed to great “shop floor” leaders. Jon graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Washburn University. He continued his studies at The University of Iowa College of Law, where he earned a doctorate of Jurisprudence. Yet, he has been a “recovering attorney” for nearly 20 years, his continuous improvement career beginning in the 1990s. Jon was involved in the Six Sigma movement at its inception at GE, where he led a multitude of projects for GE Capital and was involved in the larger operating businesses in a broad array of initiatives. Brian Penn is a director with Myrtle, where he is focused on operations, learning and development. With more than 15 years of professional consulting experience, he has expertise in analysis, design and implementation of improved processes, organizational design and integrated management systems.
He has managed and executed complex, transformational programs accounting for more than $100 million in cost and revenue improvements. In a previous leadership position, Brian successfully developed and facilitated training curriculum and programs for hundreds of consultants. He also has 12 years of business consulting experience focused on process design, advanced analytics, and digital transformation. In his career, Andy has held a range of diverse roles including NC programmer, shop floor supervisor, automation engineer, factory integration manager, program/engagement lead, and practice director.
