Mike is a principal and vice president at Myrtle, where he is responsible for the growth and profitability for the Consumer/Food & Beverage business, working in co-ordination with other sectors heads to drive business outcomes at Myrtle. An experienced senior executive who has worked for and with iconic brands both here and abroad predominantly in Consumer Products, Food & Beverage and Retail, his focus is driving innovation, operational efficiencies, customer loyalty and enhanced strategies around operations, supply chain and product development.

For the last 15 years, Mike was a Managing Director at Accenture and Partner at CSC in the Consumer, Fashion & Retail Segments. This included standing up a Global Consumer Segment with responsibility to profitably sell and deliver $720 M in IT and Consulting services. He started his career at P&G. His last position was the Category Manager – Salted Snacks. There he helped turnaround Pringles to profitability and $300M in revenues after three years of consecutive loss. He also launched and led a grocery home delivery service.

Mike is a published thought leader and respected authority in the Fashion, Retail and CPG segments and a subject matter expert in Innovation and Product Lifecycle Management. He has helped his clients improve product selection and expedite time-to-market of new products and services. He has led multiple PLM projects. He also stood up the Consumer Segment while a Director at PTC (Windchill PLM Software).

Representative projects include work in operational excellence, supply chain planning, in-store operations, ecommerce, DSD, sourcing, SKU optimization, innovation/new product introduction, trade promotion optimization, management systems and information technology. Representative clients include: The Coca-Cola Company, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Procter & Gamble, Estee Lauder, Hallmark, Crayola, Kroger, Walmart, HanesBrands, The J.M. Smucker Company, Big Lots, Safeway/Albertson’s, Magna International, Intier and GM.

Mike has a BGS in Economics from the University of Michigan, where he was also a four-year lettermen and Captain of their Varsity Hockey Team. He resides in Detroit, Michigan with his family and enjoys coaching, reading and spending time with family and friends. He also still plays competitive hockey, tennis and golf.
