Paul is a principal at Myrtle. He is a highly-experienced consultant who has operated at director, vice president and principal levels in Europe, Asia, Canada, South America, South Africa and the United States.
Paul has strong industry experience, particularly in fast moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, metals and mining, energy, construction, high-tech, and process and discrete manufacturing. During his 60-plus client engagements over the past 10 years, he has analyzed, created, managed and executed complex transformational programs for more than 30 Fortune 1000 companies valued at more than $250 million in cost and revenue improvements.
Paul graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Upon graduation, he served five years as an officer in the United States Army. Upon transitioning to industry, Paul joined Texas Instrument’s Missile Systems Business entity as a manufacturing engineer. While at TI, he earned a master’s degree in Engineering Management from Southern Methodist University and served in various roles at TI, ultimately winning the Malcolm Baldrige Award.
After leaving TI, Paul led a contract electronics design and manufacturing company serving a variety of different industries and clients. During his 14 years as general manager there, he and his leadership team grew the company from less than $1 million in revenue annually to more than $100 million, and from 17 to 700 people.
In 2006, Paul made the transition from industry to consulting as a director of analysis. With 10 years of professional consulting experience combined with 21 years of industry operations leadership and five years of military experience, he has expertise in engaging clients, understanding their needs, designing solutions and implementing improved processes, organizational designs and integrated management systems.
When he’s not on the road, Paul and his wife Molly enjoy spending time with their family. With two new grandchildren, Paul and Molly have their hands full.
