Rick Foerster is a director with Myrtle, where he has excelled in the management and delivery of complex operational excellence transformations. He has over 17 years of project management and professional consulting experience, specializing in operations management, maintenance planning/execution, equipment reliability, logistics, supply chain management, and software system implementations.
As a director he holds leadership positions within Myrtle’s Project Management Office (PMO) and with Myrtle’s Digital Transformation Excellence Team, who specialize in implementing disruptive technologies, which includes manufacturing line digitization via IoT, data modeling, advanced analytics, predictive maintenance, and machine learning.
Rick graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Supply-Chain and Logistics Management from the University of North Texas. He also has earned his Project Management Professional certification (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
His management of successful large-scale systems implementations and transformational projects to deliver sustainable results complements his distinguished experience with implementing Lean concepts, tools and techniques to drive sustainable operational performance and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
When he’s not working, Rick enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, three sons, and black labrador retriever. His hobbies include playing and officiating lacrosse, tennis, golf, darts, cornhole, going to the gym, and cheering on his hometown Dallas, Texas professional sports teams.
