Tim specializes in using Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques to improve business performance. It is this passion that afforded him the opportunity to become a partner with Myrtle. Tim is a proven leader in designing and implementing operational transformation programs, Lean Six Sigma training for various belts and continuous improvement teams. He also has extensive experience deploying operations excellence in a variety of industries that include food & beverage, life sciences, consumer packaged goods, energy, chemicals and government.
Tim received his MBA from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, one of the world’s leading business schools. Even though he resides in the Metro Atlanta area, the eyes of Texas are upon him. Tim graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Immediately after college, he began his career with Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson Company, as an automation process supervisor. His experience in that position provided him with the foundation for being a successful manager. He learned the importance of respect for others and how cross-functional, diverse teams can generate innovative solutions to problems.
While working as production engineer, Tim was introduced to the Six Sigma methodology. He joined Black & Decker as a Six Sigma Black Belt and excelled in training operators and other staff members, and in quality assurance. In addition to training, he led complex projects that demonstrated the effectiveness of the Six Sigma methodology. Tim then went on to become a Master Black Belt and management consultant.
Tim has an excellent track record when it comes to unlocking the potential of individuals and organizations through coaching and support. As a consultant, he has delivered significant value for clients throughout the country:
